Feeding Guidelines

Feeding Instructions

Every dog is different — from bouncy puppies to laid-back loungers — so feeding needs can vary based on age, breed, activity level, and environment. Use the feeding chart on the bag as a starting point, then adjust as needed to keep your pup at a healthy weight.

We recommend feeding twice a day and always keeping a bowl of fresh, clean water nearby. If you’re switching to ACANA, take it slow! A gentle transition helps your dog’s tummy adjust to the nutrient-rich goodness.

Store your ACANA bag sealed tight in a cool, dry spot to keep every bite fresh. And as always, regular check-ins with your vet help make sure your best friend stays happy and healthy.

Transition Instructions

When introducing ACANA, mix it in gradually over 5–7 days. Start with a small amount of ACANA and a larger portion of your dog’s current food, then increase the ACANA ratio a little each day. By day 7, you’ll be serving a full bowl of 100% ACANA — and your pup will be loving every bite.
